help with ribbon cutting sequence plz

Hi!!..

i'm an average newbie at Flash. hope someone can help me with this. i have a scissors movie that plays when the mouse is clicked. now i want a different movie(the one with the ribbon falling apart) to play when i click the mouse over the ribbon. i know i have to use the hittest() thing but am not sure how to go about it..
can any one help??? :(

you had your syntax wrong... i got it working... but its a little buggy... you gotta click around the ribbon... a little above it i think... but it works... perhaps someone else could fix it up a little, make it work better... but thats the general idea i think... hope it helps
