OK, I work for Alan McGee's "Poptones" label and I was asked to make a quick site of info for an upcoming compilation cd.

hey i thinks its good. Nice and simple, but does the bg green go with the colours of the swf? Does the bg have to be part of the main site or summin?

Yeah, I should've mentioned----the green colour is of the poptones logo and it's likely that it'll be embedded inside the poptones site that also has that colour as it's background.

Check out the poptones site--www.poptones.co.uk -- it sucks big time and is a real mess. Think I may try to weasel my way into being it's webmaster!

Yes, I live in London and Poptones is based here. However, they send all the updates and stuff off to some guy in Canada who uploads it.

It'd actually be a nightmare being given the site! Imagine how long it'd take to organise everything (the news page scrolls forever) and archive it all!

They want to clean it up but it's just like there's other, more urgent stuff to do I think. Also, I think the guy who uploads the stuff is ALSO the editor for it. Therefore, they want to fix the site, which would involve getting rid of that guy, but they can't cause they want him for his editorial role!
