Ok, I am going to be as non-harsh as possible. ;) When you hit enter, on your splash page, something is wrong with your actionscript, because nohing happens, I had to right click on the movie and choose "play" and it started working. Once the site began to run, there are a few things I would def. get rid of. First, get rid of the hover buttons/nav below. It is annoying to a user to hover over a word, and stuff be displayed above, and you move the mouse a little, and you hover over another word and the stuff above is gone now, and replaced with new information. Just make them actual buttons that you have to click in order to get content. You might also speed up your frame rate to get a smoother effect of all the animations/transitions. I would also choose a different font for your main text and make it a black or white, that grey on grey and grey on dark red is very hard to read, especially for the words below. I'd get rid of the (get macromedia flash) thing at the bottom and just use a detect script before the user enters the site. Other than that, I think you have a great start and that you just need to refine it and check your actionscript! Keep up the good work!!
Cheers

Pixel font in the splash page is blurred. The whole main site is blurred all over. Don't like the color scheme and the cheapy effect in the header. Plus, align the site prorerly. :hat:

1. Speed up any and all transitions.
2. Hover means "I may want to see" where as Click means "I want to see the content".
3. please please PLEASE center it in the html page!!!!!!!!!!! I hate having to look slightly left to see it. CENTER!!!!!

Its a nice idea and has potential but the color scheme and pixel fonts ruin it for me:(.

Try using pixel fonts with a more distinctive shape and of course less blury.

my main beefs are the colour scheme and of course the blurrd font also the shade of grey the font is in.

I think you should fix those and you will have an ok site.

Ok, first of all, thanks to everybody for the feedback. I already made some changes. I increased the frame rate and changed those nav buttons to actual button, which is better in my opinion too now :D Color scheme is what is it, I like it myself :D

I don't know why some of the text and graphics are bit blurred. They should not be :( Any suggestions?

->BoonDock: Do you have any idea why there is that error on actionscript? 'cos it does not do that with me. I have no idea at all what's going on :D

Well it worked this time around, don't know why it didnt work before, glad to see the bottom navigation is fixed! Yet, get rid of whatever it's doing down there, because they are sort of fading in and out and jumpin around?? Ya get what I mean? That just makes em harder to read. Oh, and on your links page, instead of that hover stuff, might try and do a slideshow or something where the user can click, rather than hover over the links, its just too touchy and annoying at times. Other than that, keep on keepin on! Cheers!

text and graphics may be blurred because, in flash, see the properties panel on the bottom, well see the x and y axis of the object (you have to have one selected to see that), well the text may be (for example) 2.1, 2.9, or stuff like that, just x.y, x.y where x number dosent matter and y number has to be 0. So you cant have 2.1 or 2.9 or 3.4 or 7.2 or 12321321.5 becuase, according to our formula, the y is not 0.
now for simple: the x and y axis have to be a whole number.... toughy ;)
Hope i helped!

I agree... Center the page it gives a much more 'calm' effect.
Also I'd get rid of the pixel font... or get a better one. It is very hard to read the one you have at the mo.
And whats withe the 'film grain' effect in the header? Gte rid of that and make something else if you have to have something...

Ok, but still I'm not gonna center it because it would be weird that top part would be a bit left still because it is not in the center at the swf.

What's wrong with film grain? Ok, it may be copyed from the tutorial but I like it anyway.

Hey glad to see that you cleaned up the bottom navigation! And that you got rid of the macromedia flash thing at the bottom of the site! ;) Kudos!

Ok... now what do you think about posters and ads galleries? I wanted those pics to open big enough.. But is that ok now, what do you think? Suggestion?

Umm, I don't like how they cover up the site, and you can't get rid of them, unless u say clear preview...you might just make each one a pop up window that is the size of each picture, that way you can still be on the website and not have it just cover stuff up out of no where... ya get what I'm sayin? Thats just a suggestion, I think the sizes of the pics are good though. If you don't want to do the pop up idea, just find another way to display them...keep at it though!!

I like the site, but the header effect on the homepage doesnt quite work (dunno if this has already been sed, but I havent been bothered to read them - got 39 new threads to peek at)

Nah, I think it would give it more "character" for it to be centered, and the gallery pages slide out more on the right hand of the screen, but thats just me.

Ok, I tried it. But I have a problem with it. My main swf is 900px width and has 'empty space' for gallery inside it, on right side. If I center page, the main part is still not in center (obviously) and it looks ridiculous. If I take that 'empty space' away, then galleries are not completely visible... So what could I do? I know it may sound newbie.. but that's just what I am :D hahaha.
