Ok I need a bit of help. I'm making a simple rendering of a model of a keyring for my final year project.

The keyring is transparent has a clear transparent plastic shell with coloured contents. It is lying on a plane that will be dark concrete material.

I have no experience of setting up lighting rigs in 3DS max. All I'm looking for help with is instructions or a tutorial link on how to set up some ok lighting.

Thanks.

3dtotal.com has a few good tutorials on lighting in max. You might want to specifically search for raytrace and shellac tutorials. Kinda sounds like thats what your after.
