well, it shows up as a white box... that means your path is wrong... double check that.

also, maximum height is 60 pixels...

what about the path is wrong? it doesnt make any sense that the url above it would be right and the actual code wouldn't be...they're the same!!!

that is so weird... you insert my file in place of yours and it works...

if you put your url in the address bar, it works...

It is because his URL is a stealth redirect URL. And not a very pleasant one at that :-\

didn't work
Quote the post to see the real URL.

OHHHHHHHH, being the URL contains a fowl word the board asterisks that out, which screws up the URL.

reverendflash
March 17th, 2003, 12:28 AM
the board doesn't like chicken?

Edit/View Source. You can see the frame layout. And the source link to the frame.

Steal redirects throw your page into a giant frame basically, that way the URL stays at the top, and no one knows the real URL. That is what my site works off of. You can have it parse the URLS to include subdirectories. And this works when put in the address bar, but this does not work when hotlinking files because when put into the address bar it can redirect into a frame, but it can't do that when hotlinking a file.

And fowl, foul.. same diff :-\ :P Sorry.

I have had the same problem with ASP forms, and trying to transfer info across 2 domains...

I didn't think to look at his source...

don't be sorry, it was my pun... if you have to explain them, they prob weren't funny in the first place...

i guess i'll be looking for a new host for it then
sorry about all the mess and 2 pages of answers attempting to figure out the problem when it was my use of a bad word in the url.

At least we figured out the problem and we didn't have to drag Kirupa into it though.
