Autorun problem

Can somebody please help me here!!!! My client is furious!!!
I've created a screensaver (from a flash file) using 1st Screensaver flash studio pro, and then added a autorun file (using autorunpro) on the cd...... the prob is.... on some pc's it works fine, but on other, it autoruns, but won't stop!!!! You must actually press ctrl-alt-del to stop it!!! I'm using XP. It doesn't work on another pc in my office, thats exactly like mine!

Please let me know if somebody else had that problem before.!!!

Nope never had that problem but why did you use that program for the autorun when all you had to do was create a autorun.ini file do a search you will find what you need to get it working.

It wont work on machines that have autorun disabled, so keep that in mind.

Just change "run_me.exe" in the file to whatever your exe is

thanks alot, but my file that's suppose to autorun, is a scr file... and that little autorun.ini doesn't want to play it...

thats why I used autorunpro... i just can't understand that it works on some machines and not on other... and the pc has autorun enabled!!

well, i guess the prob is with the scr creator file.... cause it still autoruns, but it doesn't stop.....

Why are you using a scr file? you can use screenweaver or MDM Zinc, FLash Jester or any other utility to make a screensaver from a flash file with a installer that you can customize.
