Like the footer quite a bit. Not sure about the avatar, easy to identify, but it doesn't seem very inspired. Then again, who says an avatar has to be ;)

The footer looks cool. the RB could look a little rounded and blended into the sphere, and you could add seme babmboo behind the RB in the sphere to tie it all togethar.
