I saw an Actionscript question about removing an applied color. I thought I'd put this together to show what Color.setTransform() can do.

Also, please look at the Actionscript and suggest how I could optimize the script. There has to be a better way to work with the arrays than the way I did it.

Enjoy.

That is really cool, fun to see what hints of code macromedia put into flash that not many people know about or use, nice work!

hey man, thats very nice i think you saw my question in actionscript. i wanted to know if flash is able to single out a color and change it(maybe make it transparent) while not tinting the whole image. example:

I've heard somewhere that the next version of Flash (you know, Adobe Flash) will have some blend modes, like multiply, that may help with this kind of background removal.

would'nt it be awesome that now that adobe has bought flash they make a new version in which you can have something in flash then you press a tab and it goes to photoshop and you could edit it there then back.

After Effects has the Apple-E, for edit original. Its a HUGE time saver.
