vertical XML menu --> horizontal?

hello... I'm recreating an xml menu inspired by podlob.com/download/xmlmenu.zip...

I'm wondering if anyone can help to change the menu to a horizontal menu with the same submenu animated dropdowns... so basically, I need the main categories to go accross the top and the rest work the same.

can anyone help me?
