portal skins

Hey guys....

I've been hired to skin an intranet portal for a company. Basically an engine was coded and the coders contacted me to design a skin for their app. I still dont know what the actual portal will be for (its going to be a new 'sister' company of their client). They said to just follow their HTML frame format and be creative and make three designs for them to see. So I tried to make three completely different styles for them (they look very genaric, but thats what happens when they wont give me any info to make it more custom for their app)....

i like the second one best. i like the clean techy look to it. im not feeling the banner image on the first one.

meh i think its universal, numero dos. Nice cool colors, good techy feel. I like the cleaner feel of number one though but it looks like a yellowpage site. I like the header of the third one also.

I actually like the third because it's a little different than most other sites I've seen out there. Not sure about the green, but that would be a small change.

thanks for checking it out... they've actually picked the first one, but they are going over some changes they want made before final production.
