SEXY GIRL VECTOR - COMPLETED!!!!!!!!

Hey folks,

I thought I would start this as new post from my sexy girl vector - unfinished.

I think I have finaly cracked the mesh tool in illustrator!

The following image took me about 7 hours but I have never used the mesh tool before so hopefully the next one will be quicker.

Image is completely created in illustrator and only put into photoshop to save as a jpeg for placing on here.

The image will be used for a club flyer, Large format posters and screen artwork so the background will be funked up and change to accomodate the text.

If anybody would like a poster of this (as it appears here), at a reasonable price, please let me know and I can have A4, A3, A2, A1, A0 or bigger sent off to you.

Please let me know what you think of the image, I think its my best yet!

Chimp is right: her boobies are hanging like the ears of a poodle + her face is flat. And moreover, I don't like the way she looks - too dirty. As if she didn't take a shower for quite a lon' time.

You could tweak the file for weeks and weeks and still not be happy with it, and others would still see something wrong with the file. I could even make it look not as good, the typical artsits painting to much and ruining a piece scenario. Oh and chimp, she used to be a really fat girl but lost a lot of weight so she could start clubbing! Hence the big Tats! lol.

I think that the drawing is still a fantasy type thing and not ultra realistic and in that sense doesn't have to be perfect in every way. The fact that not many people can draw in illustrator like this I think is quite cool.

I am mega chuffed with the drawing anyway. It is still good to get criticism so you can see what people like or dislike about the work.

The face needs to be a bit lighter coloured. I disagree with her breasts hanging low. Depending on the age Gary portrays, shes about in her 20s. The breasts are hanging low because of the tight red top that restricts them and therfore dragging them down. She isn't wearing a bra either.

pretty much agree with everyone else, face looks flat, hair needs a bit tweaking and thats a fine pair of breasts you have there...

particulary well done on the red outift she's wearing, good job of copying the fabric, like the light and shape shown in it

Rab just pointed something out to me, I didn't copy a fabric, the drawing was drawn from scratch and not traced. I had a few different images I used as reference but didnt trace anything.

sorry I didn't mean copy in that sense...I meant I can see what fabric it's supposed to be and you've done a good job copying the fabric, didn't mean you'd copied it on to your image, I meant you've done a good job re-creating it

im impressed cos i havent tried mesh tool yet... BUT im sure ure gonna look back on it and think its not that great, cos for me it needs all the tweaking talked about.

I agree with face/breasts etc but i just wanted to say that apart from that letting it down, I think you've got some good things going on in there. The style is a lil bit different to the majority of vector art (not a lot, but a little) and those legs look amazing. Not in a pervy way, I mean in a well designed way. Meh, and a bit in a pervy way too.

Thanks for all the comments folks, i showed it to my customer and they absolutly loved it and have asked me to do 5 more! Look out for the next one, should be done in about two weeks.
