lets not get into religon. Forget about it, the subject is over. If kirupa/ mods allow swearing here, do you know what this place would turn into? it would turn in to a chaos. this is a place to learn and have a good time. you dont need to swear you get your point across.;)

Pinx: I closed the other thread. I am not holy. Far from it actually. I am as atheist as it gets. But this is Kirupa's forum, and he decided that he doesn't want swearing to show up on his forums, so we should respect that. Like Alex said before, its about professionalism. Kirupa runs this whole site by himself, he has for a while. He is trying to convey an image of professionalism because a popular site like this is possibly a way for him to pay for college. Now, I'm not really sure what his plans really are, but I'm just trying to make a point. Its only about respect or not. Most major forums block out profanity because its not necessary.

yes I'm sure 13 year olds hear it on a daily basis, they probably hear it from their parents too, but thats not what its about.
