random dies out when post counts arent counted in it, I vote to bring them back. :puzzled:

what are post counts going to do?
i mean they are not going ot give you any money or anything
it is just for fun and they arent gonna earn you any special position
give up now and dont care about them

I think the standard has slipped, just a bit, but I'm not sure that reinstating the post counts would help.....

any suggestion what might :h:

IMO It's just the random dynamic that's gone west . . . get the right blend of people and the place 'pops' . . . . .

I agree with Rab, There really is no need to reintroduce them. They're not needed. The only thing thats died is the amount of spam.

seriously - spam is so subjective . . . if it's funny but meaningless is it still spam?? what about if you don't find it funny but others do??

eg: Fester: "I like cake" - I found it funny as hell, but it wasn't related to the topic at hand so therefore is it spam or not? - I think it added to the thread, others would disagree - therefore I don't think it was spam.

I myself add to threads without much constructiveness, although I'd like to think it injects humour more often than not - am I spamming? - to some, definately, to others, not so much . . .

anyway if you read this far all you'll notice is that I just stole 30 seconds of your life - and I have no intention of giving it back!!!! - Get Over it!!!
