I started working on this with the intent to use it on kirupaforums. Too bad its way too big [443kb] :(. "DOES NOT ADHERE TO GUIDELINES'D!"

Oh well, enjoy! Tell me what you think!
[its an animated banner for my airsoft clan]

it's good but the illusion at the start is the pellets come out slow and then speed up

but it looks good anyway, shame it's too big :thumb:

Definitely, needs a preloader. Not bad, thou the whole animation, even the headlines could be vector. :hat:

And what if you cut the music? *just watched it without sound as he is at work* It's cool that way too.

'The Illegal Footer' - I thought it would be more than a little cartoon guy shooting his little gun if you know what I mean. Looks ok. The size is huge for what it is though. What size is it without the music?

^[ubers] method is acceptable if you want to do that. And that would be to have a sort of 'splash' footer that has a button inside that when clicked it loads an external .swf into the footer. This way no extra content is getting loaded w/o the viewer wanting it to.

to lost and [uber]: yeah, i think ill do that. I just gotta figure it out :trout:

to cigar: well, its illegal against the kirupa footer rules :P thats what i meant. The file is 63kb without any sound at all [vs 443 kb with]...hehe. I guess maybe mp3 128kbps is a little too much for a footer. But I wanted it to sound good! :geek:

Still, 63 kb is too much for kirupaforums, SO, I think ill go with the preloader/splash screen idea. Thanks to all who took the time to check this out!

lost || [uber]: I will look for some tut's on how to do that whole load-the-swf thing, but if you happen to be looking at this, and also happen to already have a link that's useful to me CTRL+C'd, then would it be much trouble to point me in the right direction? :rabbit: Seriously though, I dont wanna both you, I'll figure it out. I'm just saying ;) ... haha

Thanks for the input guys! :kommie:

[uber] I appreciate it a lot, but I'd rather make it on my own. 'Else how will I ever learn? *good flash n00b attitude!*

lost: thanks! [The only reason I hadn't checked yet is cuz I hadn't clicked the little tab on my taskbar that says "Macromedia Flash..." :P]
