Hi people, happy to be here again :}

i've a simple problem actually unsolved so i hope you can help me

I did a preloader, a dynamic txtfield that showing preloading percentage. The problem is that this txtfield has a graphic background 18.20 kb c.ca ( i choosed this fat image to better test this problem ) so, when i hit my double time ctrl+enter with a 56kb speed simulation, Flash loads first the graphics and then starts the percentage count with an advanced number (70 % c.ca).

I know all this is normal but... when i have to do a preloader with heavy graphics that can give me the described problem... what's the correct way to work? It's an error of mine or there's a solution?

Have i to preload the preloader :pa: ?

There's an example website with (i believe... ) fat preloading graphics

I read the forum everiday but i have to study hard there months so i hope you'll appreciate my greetings for a special Easter everyone ! :bu:

IF you're using heavy graphics as preloader you should indeed 'preload the preloader'.

But if you're picture is 18.2 kb ... it should be fine...

another question... if my preloader contains a lil animation when it goes out and then the other animations come out... how can i lead the surfer, when visiting again my website, directly to the animations without see the outgoing preloader? I need cookies or can i do this with flash?
