Our main server at work was hacked, so I had some fun work this morning.

Every index page was replaced this message

"SpyKids from Brasil contact: irc.gigachat.net /j SpyKids"

most of our sites had php includes for headers so it look like it was part of the site to the uninformed

anyone else been hacked by them?

btw it was an old (2.0.11 compared to 2.0.13) version of phpBB that they used to get on the server

It's legal to hack pc's in brazil. I would be hacking pc's if i where there to. :D

thats always good to know :D

i would tell that they were younger kids with thier sns all spelt with Z and 0's
no damage but i found some anti-american "slogans" on some pages even though we're located in canada

greenlantern (I think) was hacked by the same group a while back. Their slogan sounds similar :(

yeah.. there not smart.. they really use simple hacking tactics... Bad server protection let them in... But some of them are really good doing inside jobs. and some are just uber.

It's all pretty wierd over there... Brazil is making the best hackers due to there polosie. and no where in the world is it as big as there. No one can keep up in the mass scall there making hackers there.

This was one hacking battle i read about:
2 hacker teams of unknow size defaced more then 250 sites in 72 hours. they we're doing a friendly battle. both brazilian.

**** i googled the slogan when it happened on sunday and there was about 30 indexed pages with it but 90% had fixed it

non-destructive, but its always good to have reminders about security

they should get a new name "spy kids" is lame, unless thier aroudn 12yrs old
