I have made a music player with 8 songs. I am wondering if you will have any problems - it is streaming music. just click on a song and the stream progress should show and also after a few seconds the song progress should show.

Thank you.

i don't have any problems :D just some points about the lay-out, maybe a little too critical:
i think the music-player is too broad i think you could shrink it a bit. also i think the volume slider is a bit too long and the word volume is a bit hard to read. is it the same font as the time-font?

good job !! :D

thanks hogs - well what it is supposed to do is stream enough before it starts playing so that there are no stops in the music - yet another dissapointing tutorial :(

cheers

ok 2nd day - yeah i will make it look better when i am 100% sure it works for all viewers - about 50% report problems and 50% say it's fine

hmmm - this is a problem. I think i will scrap it and buy the music player extension from flashloaded.

I don't think you need to buy a player if you don't want to. There are plenty of tutorials and other free ones around. The one on my site I knocked up and am willing to send to you rather than you buying one (it probably doesn't suit your needs though). :)

As for yours, it seems to work fine for me. The tracks play without any pauses and breaks. It just doesn't seem to stream the first track when it first starts - but it might not be supposed to. Maybe the problems people have are to do with the size of their connections?

hi there,

i was listening to the music in bits... i use dialup so it could be the dialup problem but i have listening to full songs using the windows media player with no problem...

Overall, i like the media player... streaming is fair...

have a great day...

yeah the music is not supposed to start untill a song is clicked.

Thanks guys - i'll look around and possibly try a different one - or buy the one at flashloaded which is really nice.

cheers

hey guys i have increased the buffering with the help of the actual guy who designed the player, what you should see now is the streaming for about 50 seconds before the song starts playing - its better than stopping and starting i feel - if ya can check it great:
