I don't think so... I tried such a stuff with a renderd Wallpaper, it was a pretty cool program, but it slowed everything down...

I haven't tried swf's yet, but I used to make gif's and using them as backgrounds...


Just make a small gif with 2 or so flakes falling, then choose it as a wallpaper nad make sure "side by side" is on. NOT stretch :P

There are a few programs out there that will make screen savers from your swf's. I can't for the life of me think of any now, but a search using google should produce some results.

well... why wouldnt you do this? if you're just trying to do something for windows... make a SFW... then make an HTML with the sfw... and use active desktop to display it as the background....
