kool, thanks lavaboy, by the way nice idea on that online radio station. just a few ideas on that. maybe create a interface for it, I know you have the details there, but maybe something more console looking to show that artist and track info, and have some volume controls and nav features, maybe even a spectrum!!

thanks soulty! I seriously want to make the player better, and it'd be awesome if I could get help from my kirupa peeps (even though I dont really have any kirupa peeps yet!) The player took me all weekend to do, cause I tried one thing, and figured out that it didnt work, so I had to do it all over again...

but yeah, I'd like to do something like winamps spectrum... that looks cool.. but there's a lot of stuff I need to learn first. Right now I'm working on the forum..

by the way, I liked F cause it's nonintrusive (I'm thinking of it with kit's original design here)... all the other ones look awesome, but they would have to be with the same look and feel as the rest of the page..

Personally, D, E, I and J are the ones that leap out at me. :)

I think the idea for the website as a whole are the Kirupa blues like in the banner up top. There's a thread somewhere with two or so designs on it, they might give you some more ideas.

ok here are some new designs, These are based on the kteam sites i have seen. Hope you like them :)

::: by the way there are two styles one is for the html site, which is static, which mean will not be dragable , while the other 2 are flash site based which are going to be dragable !!

I think that the site will be more like the first of the two layouts I posted. The second one is more cartoon-y, and people seem to prefer the slicker looking one. Novatake has come up with some more things similar to that first one, so that looks to be the direction we're heading in for now. :)

hey, just a suggestion... maybe you could design the equalizer differently...

for the equalizer in my player for my radio show thingie, I'm going to try to do something similar as the equalizer in this winamp3 skin..

nice suggestion raf, though, we are going for smaller size players, the one you are talking about is more for stand alone programs, would be good for your radio as well :)

well, I mean.... you dont have to make it THAT big... you can have an equalizer that's 75 x 75 if you want...

the equalizer that I'm talking about is the one where you see the bars from a view up top, with perspective.... I dont know if you've seen the skin yet or not...

of course... I'm not talking about the WHOLE player, I'm just talking about the equalizer

oh ok, yeah well i havent worked on the eq bars . been busy working on the designs. Elements in the design can always be improved, and depending on the one selected it will determain if we can create more complete eq bars like you said.

Your saying like the ones in hot car setups. with the eq bars in perpective and your looking off top so you can see the front and the top in perpective. (3d style)

a good suggestion though we will wait and see. :)

I really liked the drop down menu one, I think that's awesome.
I'm not sure if you're going to be involved with the programming of it, but I have another suggestion.... I saw an equalizer that was actually a mask, and behind it it had some text... I thought it was a really awesome effect (I wish I had thought of that)...

I really like the drop down idea... but I guess in my mind the design for the actual page is going to be Kit's first one, and your design sorta clashes with it. I think you would have to change the color scheme (and whether you do a 3d effect or not) to go with the rest of the page..

Hey all , been heaps busy lately but I have been able to squeeze in some more designs for the kteam audio player.

These are called the Circular range and are based on playamarz's design in which he had a circular eq design.

The more ideas the better, it will make it easier for the team to select a style and go along with it.

These are not finals , All the audio player concepts i have posted are not finals, the design does not stop here. when the style is selected then nav and other element will be tuned. They can even be a mix and match , selecting elements from other concept and placing them on others.

Hope to see some more design from others!

i think we´re ready to develop our player looks based on one of those designs.
we have to hurry on that, coz we´re way behind the schedule...

after we choose the look, we can better it up, and make it avaliable to the team´s programers.

In terms of skinning it would be a matter or outlining what elements are needed to make up the player, their approximate size/demensions and relations to others... with that in mind, it might be easier for others to design a ... design, around that framework. - if that makes any sense

Skinable will be too hard for the moment, we need to lay down the tech work before we know any size requirements.
