Just re-posting the rules for the digital photography battle due to the mix up with the forums...

Digital Photography Battle rules

Theme: Produce an image of a cityscape or elements of a city using digital photography and photo manipulation.
Participants: p13, Jax, Mariofan, Law, anybody else...
General Rules: Collage is allowed but you must end up with one final image. You must take the photo(s). Photo manipulation is allowed as long as the image retains the theme (ie city). Must be the city you live in or have lived in.
Software: You can use any software you like but you must end up with a jpeg.
Before: 03/31/2003. The end of the month.

Can a mod please make this official again? Thanks...

i dont live in a city, its a town, but im surrounded in all directions by citys -

town : dewsbury, united kingdom
close citys (same county) - leeds, wakefield, huddersfield, & bradford

There was an underground fire on my block recently... If you look closely you can see the mountain in the background, which for those of you who don't know, is stuck in the middle of Montreal...

Description: New York City Skyline at night.

Technique: 5 images taken with a Canon S30 DG stitched manually in Photoshop 7. The only thing that has been modified in this pic was the brightness and contrast. But other than that, no further changes were made to the image.

Camera Settings: Manual, ISO 100, 8 Seconds exposure time, f8.0,...

This picture ewas taken by my in Ibiza a few years ago. And I lived there for 2 weeks so its still within the rules :P

Here is mine *sighs in relief that I managed to post it on time*

Location: taken at Canary Warph in the Docklands in south-east(ish) London

Tecnique: The glass dome thing (Tube station) was manually stitched and the middle ground was taken in a different place and inserted in. The Background (the famous Canary Warph tower) was also taken seperately.

Tools: My old brick digital camera and Photoshop
