Bumfights

My friend has been talking about this for ages, so I borrowed the DVD from him.

Bumfights is (incase you didn't know) this show where they get tramps and crack heads to fight and do stuff like run into huge metal containers for money. Theres also a load of bare-knuckle boxing and stuff.

Some of the parts are soooo funny. It's banned in America I think, has anyone else seen it?

Theres one part where they pretend to be Police, and go up to people and tie them up and stuff. They kidnapped this crack addict and threw him in a dumpster :lol:

Theres also a piss-take of MTV Cribs, where a hobo shows them around the place he lives...in an underpass. I was seriously cracking up at that one :P

I've seen it. Some parts are funny, some parts are just annoying.
That part about kidnapping tramps is called the "Bum Hunter" and I totally hated that guy. Filming schoolfights and stuff isn't that bad but just running up on defenceless tramps while they're sleeping, holding them down, tieing them up and generally just treating them like dirt really made me think "I'd love it if one of the tramps got up and kicked the hell out of that guy" and sorta frustrated me. Although myself and all of my mates who've seen it, reckon that some of the guys in that Bumhunter bit were paid off and it wasn't really genuine.

I sound like a really picky, complaining person here but I love violence and I hate censorship more than most people. I just don't like the site of a couple of cocky teenagers ganging up on people who have life THAT bad!

Overall though, Bumfights and the sequel are really funny movies although they both tend to be really good for like 20 minutes then they just get repetitive.

yeah, i find a lot of things funny but that sounds pretty sad. especially when the bums are people that just cant get a job and it has nothing to do with liking the bum lifestyle.

Yeah but most homeless people are there beacuse of drug abuse, alcohol abuse or just lazyness.

I'm not a big fan of these videos but I won't lie to you - I was cracking up when they did that bit when the bums drank beer, got dizzy spinning on golf clubs and then they had to run to the trash can to get $20. One guy was so dizzy, he was running sideways and totally couldn't control his legs.

Renaissance--you're the first ever moderator to agree with something I've said! This is indeed a special day for me! lol. PRStudio just banned me one day, then told me he was open for discussion about it and when I tried to discuss it with him, he completely ignored me. Yes--THAT'S comedy. Tieing people up is just cruel and only really makes me a tad uncomfortable and frustrated that I wasn't there to kick the hell out of those kids.

After seeing that video someone posted a while back about some guy smashing another guy's skull with a skateboard, I got sick of the realistic, let's beatup defenseless people for enjoyment videos. If you are going to fight someone for a stupid video, at least make it so that the other person (for whatever reason) isn't mentally "out there" and has an equal shot of defending himself.

I could understand that, although I wouldn't judge a person because they enjoy watching crackheads, prostitutes and bums doing silly things.

lol I can see why you guys think it's funny. Like there is a video around the net of some commercial for a cell phone where a cat jumps on the cealing fan and flies around and then hits a wall but then runs away safely. And people think it's funny, and so do I, but I don't laugh at it. My sorryness for the cat overrides my laughability. :P

i saw a video once...

i found it funny and wrong at the same time. Some parts just took it way to far where the "bum hunter" ties up homeless people and write on them with a marker or something. I feel that it gets carried away.


i do not think the entire video is funny, only some parts
