I just started using this, it's so sweet. Basically, it's an online DVD rental thing, you pay £9.99 a month (for the starting price package) and you get unlimited DVD rentals (you can only have a few at a time though).

They post it to you, you watch it, you post it back and they send you another one.

You have a list of movies you want to see, and they send you the ones you most want to see.

Does anyone else use it?

I use the American version (at least the biggest one), http://www.netflix.com/

Love it, although it's nice to have a local card for emergency rentals ; ) I heard blockbuster just started a similar service in the states as well, so we'll see how long netflix holds on : )

I have a blockbuster about 30seconds walk from my house, so I tend to get movies from there. Bit expensive though.

Do they rent games too?

ive been using netflix for years, so i get it dirt cheap because our price stayed when they raised their prices =X

Id love to sign up to something like this but I wouldnt have the time to watch £10 worth of DVDs a month, lol. Then after the first few months when youve watched the good films youd end up picking the really obscure crap ones just for the sake of it.

"Ninja Bin men 7 - Bin lids of death" - Sounds good!

fancied using the Amazon version but I wouldn't rent 3 every month so sometimes I'd be paying so much a month for no DVD's rented....no thanks, I think I'll stick to illegally downloading them over the internet thank you very much ;)

oh, so that's how you do it? ;)

i found another great site when searching these forums: www.cd-wow.com . i'd rather buy them here, then paying £10.00 a month. they're pretty cheap and they offer free shipping :thumb:
