hey, anyone know of any program that lets me increase or reduce the quality of a mp3?...

i dont think you'll be able to increase the quality of an mp3 since it's a shrunk version of wav, which is undoable.
However if you want to decrease the size/quality of an mp3 you may use:

CoolEdit (Pro)
SoundForge

or anysoftare (just check www.download.com and search for audio/mp3 software - sometimes their freeware is nice...)

or use flash's compression for mp3 !

nice, thanks, do you know any real professional sound effect or editing tools?...or are they enough?

wat about a program that extracts mp3 tracks from a cd?...i've tried blaze media pro...it doesn't support my cd burner though...

ive used Audiograbber (lets say mmh. fallen from a lorry)
to rip my cd to mp3
although winamp can do it with a plugin (if uve got a PC/Windows)
if you really want a professional audio 'studio' try steinberg's cubase, but this is really complicated...

stick to CoolEdit or SOundforge; they are easy to use....
