I have created an infinate menu, given the buttons frame actions, but because you can't have a on release action on the sliding menu I don't know how to make each button go to the specific url.

why can't you have an on(release) handler on the buttons in the infinite menu? If you are using buttons, then they are still buttons, infinite menu or not...

when i put the actions onto the frame the output comes up wth the following error:

Symbol=menu, Layer=Layer1, Frame1: Line1: Mouse events are permitted only for button instances
on (release) {

the problem is that because the infinate menu's buttons are within a movie clip, I havent been able to find a way to get the buttons to take me the the url as they would normally do.(hence why I was advised to put them as frame instances - hence the output error.)

any ideas??
