I think RAL is german and I've never come across RAL palettes and the last time I heard about it someone was telling that the only way to work out color equivalence was to sit down and compare a pantone and a ral color chart...
then I came across this on google (which should be your first step =)) http://www.dtpstudio.de/raldigital30/english/ral-begleitsoftware_e.htm looks like you do have software which might work for photoshop
cheers

Thanks mlk.
googling was my second step. The first was checking Photoshop if it was already inside the program..
Third was asking here. Sorry that i didnt' write here that i already googled.
Anyway the software is not really what i'm looking for. i'd like a simple palette like the pantone ones. But if sitting and compare the colors on the chart is the only way to go... well i'll just do that.

What are you using them for anyway ? Is it a print work ? I'm interested because I simply never ever had to use them =)

RAL is a colorcode used (mainly) in the architecture a lot since it is originally a code for paint. So while designing (in PS) with colors it can be usefull to know the code for comunicating those colors with clients or suppliers.
