Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone likes any of the following artists and albums:-

Kasabian - Kasabian
Muse - Origin of Symmetry
Muse - Absolution
Athlete - Tourist
Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand
The Killers - Hot Fuss
Greenday - American Idiot

So, tell me what you think and maybe even suggest an artist. I need more music heheh :mu:

I heard Muse once, and really liked it.
I own the Franz Ferdinand cd, although it got on my nerves after a few times straight through, and it's way to short.
My friend Jacob has the Killers, it's great too.
Havent heard the new Green Day cd, but heard great things.
Wow it's like I have barely heard any of that haha.
But I know we have the same taste, don't worry.

I recommend:
the smiths
the faint
the strokes (either cd is good, but I liked the self titled first one more than room on fire)
Modest Mouse (I have 'The Moon and Antarctica' and 'Good News...', but I prefer Moon more).
Death Cab For Cutie (The PhotoAlbum is a MUST for any indie fan, IMHO)

I might think of more, I may be back...

Glad you love Kasabian, one of my favorite band as well... If you like brit indie rock, check out The Futureheads, Bloc Party, The Rakes, Kaiser Chiefs are going to do a Franz (ie make an album of the year =))

Then again, all you have to do to find cool bands is read the NME (www.nme.com)

Muse - Origin of Symmetry and Absolution are excellent. Athlete's Tourist is a disappointment in my opinion compared to their first which had some good tracks.

Christ, Brody Dhalle from The Distillers is insanely fit.
And I think I might just hate The Zutons--even the look of that saxophone woman annoys me and the lead singer is just so pathetic and whingy sounding.

Like everyone keeps mentioning, Muse are near the top of my favourites too.

You just can't beat a bit of AC/DC though--simple but fun rock and roll.

I would've thought there'd be plenty of people that share the same taste in music as you. Even I quite like Franz Ferdinand.

Cheers for this thread.. been looking for new music and this fits the bill quite nicely. Lately I've been listening to the go! team. They're a mix of indie and 70s. Really good.
