Does anyone know if there is a 3rd party plug in or a way to have a tool panel for my filters so I dont have to go to the filters menu? Kinda like how John Dunning has the Extensions panel fo FWMX.

Well, there are two addons, Adobe Photoshop Interface Improver (http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Authors/Interface__Improvement.html - the link has almost the same thing for Illustrator, Freehand etc) and Photoshop Interface Assistant (http://www.drivermagician.com/pia.htm). I haven't tried them myself, but you might wanna take a look at them.

You could just make "Actions" where certain F keys call certain filters, then display the Actions palette as Buttons.

Yea I was thinking about a tear off panel.. I have a project where I have to use filters repeatedly at varying strengths and it is plain irritating to keep going filters-->filter--->. FW has an extension to make them a panel. I was hoping maybe someone along the way has developed something like that. I think it would be a good idea.

you could use this, or you could just press tab and get the same results....

hey DDD if your using the same filter but you just want to get its option box up instead of just applying the same strength filter amount you do have a shortcut to activate the last used filters option box,
