Alright, well me and another Kirupa member (Flash User) are both trying to create a 360 Degree image, and once it is together brought into flash and will be made to pan around.
Anyway Flash is the least of our worries at the moment. What we need help with is taking a 360degree image. Flash User has taken some shots of his computer room/office (im still yet to take some shots) although when we bring them into Photoshop and try to align them they dont work out right, they keep aligning but going downwards kinda thing.
Just wondering if anyone has done this before and if so if they can explain how to do it or just some tips. Cheers Ben :D

If you've got CS use photomerge or sometimes the digital merging software offered on some of the camera software bundles are really good... The key thing is you must take a lot of photo otherwise your perspective will be distorted, and try to set up your camera to a manual mode so it won't focus itself/correct the light on its own (which would end up in uneven colors...)
Since software like photomerge allow you to automate the process of stitching images (I use to do it by hand and it's a pain when you have 20+ images), again I would recommend shooting as much as you can, and trying to be stable when holding the camera =)
cheers

Record a Quicktime Movie, and play it on quicktime player, snapshot as many shots you want and then do it in Flash

besure to use a tripod and rotate the camera on that... you're bound to move up/down and change angles slightly if you do it by hand. I just use photoshop to stitch back together.
heres one I did a while back: http://www.grafikdesigns.com/CM/sample.html
I stood up and held the camera by hand in that one and you can see how it just doesnt fit in some spots ;)
Peace
