is there any way for me to organize fonts so that when im looking for a specific type of a font i dont have to scroll down the whole list. i have about 500 fonts and i hate going literally 1 by 1 till i find what suits the project....

so is there a way to organize em???

i just highlight the text, highlight the font dropdown box and then use my mouse wheele to scroll through them. I feel you though, i have over 2k fonts and many dont work, i just dont feel like going through and weeding the unworking ones out.

If you're using a Mac you can use Suitcase. It organizes your fonts and you're able to preview several fonts at once. On a PC... I have no idea.

The name of Adobeīs manager is Adobe Type Manager. Itīs a stand alone aplication that comes with Adobe Font Folio, but not with Photoshop

That works as well. I don't have Panther or Font Book... I need it though. Suitcase seems too give me a lot of trouble.
