ermmm a college project

heres a college project i just finished.

Brief : in most basic form
Make a flash website about watever (minus **** or offensive material) u want. time 7 weeks.

ye so i did a portfolio for bits of my work, only thing i could think off :) plus cudnt be arsed to do a fan site lol >.<

so ye ne ways heres what ive done jsut wondered what the people think compared to who ever marks it lol ^_^

i remember commenting on this a while ago.

it dosent seem to have changed much, i noticed you took away that moving text animation for the nav, its not really better actually more static and therefore boring.

the font used for the nav dosent work, and news and info could do with some formatting, it all looks a little plain jane..

so what did the marker say?

Looks very plain. And what is that box on the bottom of the home page? It does not fit in any way. You font needs work, and the composition and positioning is bad.

Sorry if this is too harsh, but I just tell it how it is. If this is your first website attempt or one of your first then it's ok I guess. But don't worry this is why your going to college. I'll be hittin up Multimedia design in the fall. Should be fun.

well im glad u guys didnt mark it :) but i apreciate your comments cosyou guys prob see more of the industry and see more into deisgn and wats good and not but ne ways...

mr teacher marker dude said was one of the best he seen outa the whole class and from my previous director project was looking forward to it :( dunno y i only just scraped a merit on it lol. so i didnt do to bad its only my 2nd project for the multimedia authoring section of college so i think they where just thinking of looking at a few motion tweens slip between scenes or frames with buttons and a bit of text because of the people in class who never used flash before.

but i think im gonna post some of my stuff here again might help me improve more then college will :) lmfao

the site looks a lot like it did when you posted it back months ago. the over state on the nave is blurry compared to the normal text on the button and the content tweens look weird just scaling a box. Why do you have such large unfocused photos in your portfolio? at full size they are blurry from the original i guess.

I can't wait to get in Multimedia. I'm going to strive to be the best the whole time. I mean... I do what I'm about to learn anyway so... Anyway I'm excited about Multimedia. BTW where do you go?

not bad, better than my flash project. but we only had 4 weeks to make one. and the bad part was they did not go to much into actionscripting, which pisses me off the school doesnt offer it.
Btw i attend the art institute of houston
