Hi,
I have used a color to fill a layer early today but I forgot writing down the color # . I have that seperate layer in a PSD file. How can I find out exactly which color I have chosen ?
Thanks :)

use the eyedropper tool to match the color then double click on the color square and the code is in the popup window

Use the Eyedropper tool in Photoshop. It samples the colour you click on and sets it as your foreground colour.

From which you can go into your colour mixer panel and save the colour to your swatches for future access through the swatch panel.

Press "I" and use the eyedropper tool to get a sample of it. It'll show up as your foreground color. Double click your foreground color to bring up it's values.

Edit: Beaten twice... look at the posting times... sooo close.
