ASP Customized Calendar: booking equipment

Hi.

I have a project and am looking for ideas:

I have a person who has 8 pieces of equipment to be used 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at intervals of every 30 minutes. So Joe Bloggs can choose piece of equipment #3 at 12:30-1pm on Friday 13th January 2005.

You would want to visually see booking for a day, as well as a month. You would want to browse this... and then choose to select a dat/time etc.

We're using ASP. I know a boring way of doing it, but I am looking for your creative minds to work for and help me.

You could have the calender in flash showing the full month view. Then you click on the day and it zooms in to the full day view with a listing of times and what tools is booked when.

You can click on openings and a menu could slide in where you input your details (name, item wanting to be booked, etc) Hit Ok and the menu slides back, and flash refreshes the data and ure name is in there.
