Hey,

This isn't really an experiment but there is a source and i'm sure it can come in handy to someone :)

It's a Palette like the one in Flash. It's in an AS2 file so it's easy to use :)

Now if you could create a custom palette based on a string of colour numbers... that would be cool and I could use it on www.ColourLovers.com

you mean something like "255,127,0"?
and who would that be inputed? XML file? plain text file? or with a parameter in the html?

um, is this possible in a Flash MX version?? or is AS2 strictly 2004 and beyond??

I was thinking something like

"303030,F1F1F1,ECCC10"

It suppose there would be a few ways to get that string into flash. One way would be to just import it via a url variable in the OBJET code.

WOO-HOO! it works now... i've been wanting somehing like this for a long time.. i hate having to open up PS or Flash just to find the Hexadecimal string that im looking for..
