kirupa shirts

hehe... last night I mentioned in 3 sentences to kirupa that he should sell shirts on his site... He said that he had to figure out how to do that (get a design, see how to ship them, etc.) I want to push this, and I think we should have a shirt design contest, and help kirupa figure out how to deal with the merchandise.
What do you guys think? Do you have any ideas? I would definitely buy a kirupa shirt... maybe a kirupa hat... or kirupa boxers.. LOL

Bras for Lost and Eilsoe (they like to 'borrow' them for reasons unknown). Underwear in general. Fill the niche market. :stunned:

And I get the carpet/shirts thing. I suffer a similar problem, only with all my clothes. There's more on the floor than in the wardrobe I think.

it sucks right now. I like simple shirts. This site is cool... I've ordered shirts from them, and I was pleased.

Umm other ideas.. The whole Kirupa Park? Cept someone make a background to it and do it that way? :) We can't gte in trouble because we didn't say "South Park" and technically None of the characters look exactly like the original South park characters.

I would definatly purchase a golf shirt. I do a lot of golfing in the summer time and that would be amazing! But it cannot have a giant can of SPAM on the back... It would have to be a nice design :) I can come up with something... but we would all have to agree.

Yeah.. I wear the Golf Shirts all the time to go golfing or bowling.. So I'd probably buy 2 or 3 of them... A simple Kirupa.com with a small image say.. lineart of kirupa of something..

golf shirts are cool... playa, as I said before, www.customink.com can handle any number of orders.

hmm... I'd like both a shirt that displays the kirupa brand (like something you would find at a tradeshow) and a spoof shirt... however.. I dont think the spoof shirt would sell as much as the first one. Personally, I dont get some of the jokes in this site.

but for all you good designers out there! Please show us some designs... Is there a way a Mod can set up an 'official' contest?

Umm yeha.. Iw as chekcing them out lava.. I love the third polo shirt idea.. The pointed collar tipped shirts.. They actually look like they are well made and they have some spifferfic colors.

Anybody can create their own shops featuring merchadising with the site's logo, design, whatever, and I'll be more than happy to link to it via the shopping section or another more prominent location on the site. Of course, you will keep all the money, etc. because any purchases will be made via your own store. I can link to as many products from as many stores as there are members to create designs for them :)

I'm not great at making cool, t-shirt designs, and you can see a few less than stellar ones at: http://www.cafepress.com/kirupa I haven't publicized it yet because I am still working on them....very slowly. Those will change or be removed, so please do not purchase any from that store.....at least until something worthy of purchasing comes up.

So if anybody creates a store, just give me PM and I'll try to have your product linked on the site fairly quickly :beam:
