yeah. i tried it. it is very cute swf file. and don't worry people it won't hurt. how can you expect from a little swf file to crash your comp.

The counter doesn't update in realtime :) The SWF file he provided opens a lot of browser windows pointing to a nonexistant site. Since the windows were grouped in the taskbar, closing them all with a few clicks was easy.

I made a virus once in VBscript.... theni made a fake one and loaded it on my youth pastors computers.... it locked up the screen and showed an evil smiley and said " this is a virus... hope you don't need these files... have a nice day..." and then it showed a bunch of files being "deleted" it was so cool.. he freaked... but then i saved the day... heaahahaaahaaaaa... he laughed afterward....

That's not a virus... That's just an annoying .swf... just like pretty much lol.htm file there is on the net...

I made an fake virus in Vb also, when I was 8. It opens a dialog that says this is a virus, do you want to remove your files? then the yes/no buttons switch according to where you put your mouse pointer (if you highlight no, the yes button moves over to replace the no button) so after you click yes, your screen goes black, it then show the dos window saying that a operaiting system can not be detected. Then after a while of that, it say oops reinstalling operaiting system (has a progress bar) and exits the program. Pretty nifty.


Now about those flash viruses.... I was having a contest with g_wing02 to see if I could make a flash program that made the computer lag a lot. It was easy, I made it.... then out of habit I pressed ctrl + enter, and it ran the program.... then I had to restart... it was great....

Technically, you can just make a projector with .swf and embed something into it. but that'd be more like an .exe not .swf =/

Erm, have computer viruses become legal over night? esarbak1989, besides the fact that you wanna create a code that would ruin someone else's files or hardware and that you would probably go bragging around "oh, how i cool I am, I created a virus, I infected "n" machines!", why would you wanna build something like that? No offence, but it sounds really bad. 1989 wouldn't be the year u were born, would it? Cuz i really hope ur not one of those kids who are into flooding and hacking, but they don't basically know how to set up a windows install.

Hey, the virus is pimp. Except out of coution I checked it with like ten different anti virus things... lol... nice gag... do you think you can make a more 'real looking' fake virus thing for my site, and make it look all serious, and get people really scared and stuff... that'll be the perfect gag...
