wondering bout wakeboarding game?

okay,
ive done the animations for actual boarder but im wondering can u make (in flash MX or 2004) liike the ski rope from the boat?
so that when u go out wide the rope lenghtens/ shortens watever sumfin liike that?
so if ne 1 no's a tute or can do it them selves can u plz post

wakeboarding is like water skiing, in the sense that you're hold a rope attached to a moving boat, but it's more of a snowboard. You ride the wake of the boat and use it to jump.
