View Full Version : Is there anyway to Submit stuff from a form to a hotmail account? HELP PLZ

I need help please, I dont have a Server...I use like geocities etc...is there a way to Submit stuff from a form that I made to a hotmail account without using CGI-BIN? like you enter your email and it send it to mine?? someone please help me!! Thanks

You need to use some type of server side language like ASP, PHP, CGI or PERL... There is no other way... unfortunately.

Just fyi, The mail sent from your website will be recieved as junk in any hotmail account~!

Yeah you can do it!
Go here http://www.tripod.lycos.co.uk/build/, this free hosting service supports PHP!
Sign up there and create a form using PHP.
Now if you dont know how to do a form using PHP, let me know and ill send you an fla!!
( this form is in flash though ) ;)

I didn't get it working when having the reciepant and 'from' as a hotmail account, however, you can get IT working the way you have suggested if you used another address...

I didn't get it working when having the reciepant and 'from' as a hotmail account well i did :P.. well actually, when i was testing it, i used my own address as the sender and the reciever and it was filtered as spam... but if you use any other hotmail account it shouldnt.. plus.. it depends on your junkmail filter setting.. :eye:

I would appreciate it if you wuld send that form to me please! also I dont know nothing about PHP so maybe you culd explain! and also do you need to know what I want on it? or are you sending a form that is fixable? please let me know Thanks!

This is one i did ( attached below ) just showing that you can animate it if you want to!
The enimation sucks, but it was just an attempt to see if it was possible :P
