Recording and adding sound

I don't know how to update the sound file which i have recorded using external
communication like a wave file.But i want to include the sound file for example a sound file in media player.How to update the sound without importing each time into flash.Is there any way to use script for updating the sound which i have created externally?.Thank you so much.

Do you want to update the file directly from flash? Sorry a bit more clarification needed. Anyway to update the file without importing each time, just right click on the sound file in library. Select properties. Press update button to update the file from where it stored. Warning, if you have changed the location of the original file the updation will be failed.
