www.aloofhosting.com used to be great, but sadly, due to the lack of ads, they had to close down.

The fact is, if you're not paying them, and they have no ads, they're losing money bigtime. So mainly, there are no good free hosts. Hopefully you are at least willing to pay around $20 for a year of hosting? If so I'm sure many people here will help you out. My advice would be to go to www.dr2.net

B3n - hostultra.com, t35.com , 1asphost.com, clubhost.us. See if you can also see anything at www.freewebspace.net/forums . I am currently at www.lifelesspeople.com but you need to regularly post in their forum (sad isnt it? well its free...).

www.free.fr

They do ISP and Webhosting.
1Gig hosting, no ads. And not ready to go down in the dirt (they hold the upper part of the French market as an ISP, with 15Mb download)
but i guess you need to speak french to sign up... (and maybe live in France... dunno)

www.illusionfxnet.com -- apply for hosting if you already have hosting. If you get it, LOTs of features. I am talking 200+ mb of space and no ads. PHP, PErl, Mysql of course.

i was so lucky that i got the best free limited time offer hosting
from a professional outlook it's very good.

http://www.1and1.com/ but now it's to late :( i think that offer was given on the beginning of last year!

try this one http://www.ionichost.com/

they look pretty good, though i heard that PHP doesn't really work on it.
