Multiplayer Game

i dont know if this thread is in the right place but im planning on making an online multiplayer. i can program the game but i dont know how to use a server. i dont know what XML and PHP are. if you can help, please post anything you know in here.

Well what do you plan on programing the game on? How do you want it to interact with php and xml... To keep stats? User registration?

i want to make the game connect to a server but i dont know the first thing about making one.

THat would be your best bet... My advice.. Find some nice beginers tutorials. If you look in this forum theres a pinned thread that has a bunch of usefull sites with torials.
