well apart from the advertising (and plenty of it...) it was pretty bland....

the only thing i liked was the use of blue in the page... and umm i sorta half liked the butterfly image in the header.... butterflies aint my thing though...

but apart from that - what did you want us to critique? looking at the coding of the page ( the "http://clan-star.com/mybutterflies" page....) it doesn't look like you even made the site yourself. so what's there to critique?

Yes, i'm not code the php part. I do the design part in Photoshop.

its a good start! That is a beautiful dark green in the header, where did you get your picture? The logo is a little plain with just text that has some layer styles, but then again logos are extremely difficult. You may want to start a new thread just for discussion on your logo.

The blues are nice as well, except there is way too much of the light blue, in the background and the background of your body. Something needs to be changed. Also im can't really tell how well the green works with the blues. They are all nice colors, just not necessarily in conjunction with each other.

One of the worst things about that ads by google (other than google being spelt with so many o's i know its google marketing but its still annoying) is that it requires your table to always be at least that long. You may want to move those ads outside your main content so that that table can shrink to the size of your content, so you have a lot less empty space for no reason.

I may change the color scheme in near future. the colour scheme really nice.... i wouldn't change it.... (the blue that is) i didn't really notice a clash with the blue and the dark green... so play around with it if you want to like jpolo said

maybe it could do with a little more content... cos the only real content i see there is some pictures of butterflies in "gallery"... (all the other info like "contact" are just filling up space...)

Make a nice logo and a neat banner with some different fonts.

I recommend : Exmouth , its a great cursive and calligraphic font. Try it on :)

why have adsense and a google search engine....for me to put those on my site I would have to receiving 5000 hits a week at least but from what it looks like you don't, so why advertise google with the traffic you get? you want to keep the amount you get not give google them :)
