my .mac doesn't work

I have a trail .mac account for one month. I can receive emails by Mail on Mac, but can't send email from it. I don't know what's wrong with it.

I think i had that same problem. I wish i knew what I did to fix it :(

Can you give me a link to the directions? I would be happy to take a look again and try to figure it out.
