Unfortunately, vB does not have any sort of a log. Hey aislin, if possible, would it be possible for you to go Offline in IE and try to dig up the post and copy and paste the contents into a separate Web site?

It's under FIle | Work Offline. That is a great method of getting access to something that is once believed to be lost.

and aislim: if you let me give a piece of advice, just the other day, i got in a 'situation' here @ kirupaforum, i made a joke with someone that didn´t take the joke that well and started to call me names and such... i wanted to aswer him in the same way, but put a hold on myself, and shortly a bunch of mods, users, and even :ub: poped up in my defense.
The sad part was that this guy probably wont be coming back here...and who knows? maybe he was a cool kid, that have a bad day and without knowing that these boards don´t tolerate swearings and such (believe me it is rare these days) was just ventilating...

Kirupa, Hope that you dont mind me saying this but vB does have a log of all actions performed by the Admins of the forums.

The table is called "adminlog" and inside there you will find the following information:

adminlogid userid dateline script action extrainfo ipaddress

Within here at the very least you will find the account name of the person that was banned, and also the admin ID number of the account that performed the action on the account. A history is kept indefinately so if an account was banned, you will find that the action will be recorded in here telling you who did that action.

This wont however tell you WHY it was banned. But it will give you a name to start talking to.

Hope this helps and it doesn't throw anyone in the poo.

Are you tlaking about me in that statement cause as far as I know.. I'm not standing behind anyone.. I was the one who stated it. There was no whining for phil's attention. There was no-one before me that took stand against it.. So I took the necesity to say.. "Hey.. That was unnecesary..."

Would anyone else have? I dunno.. But I have the balls to say something on my mind and that's what came out. I made it respectable and I made it to where it could be taken by everyone as a matter of opinion.. I was not being negative to you. I was stating the true set in stone facts.

Don't complain about too many posts because we weren't banned? I'm not that attached to these forums to do that... I'd just think of it like this.. Most of the stuff I post is ont he help stuff.. Or I post interesting facts.. or I get in a good dabte over things.. Other than that.. A friendly convo here and there.. I can do that in many other forums..
