this is an all flash site I'm doing for a chiropractic/etc place. Just generic preloaders for now, and I'll need to add sound. Please let me know how I may improve it if need be.

I don't really like that style of site, but you've pulled it off very well. You picked a theme and really stuck with it... those rollovers are nice. The only thing I didn't like (and not just cuz the style isnt my thing) was how the content windows animated in. They fade and move in at the angle... I dunno, looks like you just didnt feel like doing anything interesting there (when compared to other animations you have). Or possibly you were trying to pull off something that didnt work out.
That was the one thing that really jumped out at me.
I'd say if your client was looking for something toony and bright... they're happy campers :thumb:

the layout is un-original, and i think the buttons need a more defined rollover (IMO). i must agree with Ryall on the windows entering the frame @ an angle, dont like it. but i do like how the bg image turns blurry. i think all in all it's good but needs some minor refinement.

actually I didn't like the background image turning blurry, thought it could have just stayed how it was
I liked the menu, uncomplicated and you've not gone overboard as so many people do
waiting for the images took a while though and for a second I thought my browser had crashed. Maybe a preloader wouldn't go a miss...I mean I have a fast connection, I'd hate to think what a 56K dial-up user would have been thinking at that point
overall...good, not great, not groundbreaking, but it doesn't have to be, you just have to get your clients message across and I think you've done that well. The place looks friendly and warm, well done :thumb:

Thanks for the helpful comments everyone.

I'll straighten them out and see how it looks.

I too feel that the design is a litte too dependant on the bg photo. When it wasn't blurred, i thought it competed too much with the content. I've been getting mixed reactions to the blur from other ppl...strange.
waiting for the images took a while though and for a second I thought my browser had crashed. Maybe a preloader wouldn't go a miss... I have preloaders on all the sub sections. I'll have to check that out
The place looks friendly and warm, well done :thumb: Thank you :)

i quite like it, the rollovers are good, but dont seem to fit.
id have to agree with RB i think the back image should stay sharp, its a cool effect but i just think it would look better

UPDATE:
http://home.centurytel.net/pixelpusher/cafeoflife/
I've added sounds, proper preloaders, and made some cosmetic changes. I also added a basic html "splash page", just in case someone is absolutely against (perish the thought!) downloading a flash player. Crucial info about the businesses will still be available to them. I'm also looking for feedback from dial up users if possible.

I like it, not very original, but good!
SOmething quick that I would change is loose the drop shadow on the logo.
Cheers!
