5.1 in Flash Player

I am having this trouble for a long long time now but I finally decided to ask. Whenever and wherever I go to a comp with a 5.1 sound system (and mine!), it always plays things from Flash Player in ordinary stereo style (only the two front speakers without the woofer and the other three speakers). What in the name of God can I do to force Flash Player to play in 5.1 mode? There aren't any options that allow me to do so like in Winamp or many other players.

I'm guessing it'd be in your windows sound settings or something, not in the Flash player. What sound card do you have?

I didn't even know flash was able to handle 5.1 Sound.


You should Set. if stereo sound play also throw the other boxes. Probally playing around with the drivers should help.

Naah. It's Genius 5.1 sound card. But no matter where i go, it doesn't play in 5.1. I never experienced a Flash animation in 5.1 :) I have to convert it to a video file first, lol. Well, i'm guessing it's impossible or something...huh. Hopefully the 8th version will have something.
