I am bored :-\


So I drew this little ditty up in Flash. I am really bad at drawing and designing in Flash, so don't be too harsh ;)

It is me pretending I can actually snowboard (If only dreams could come true :() Drew it with the line tool, some shapes, and the pen tool. Nothing imported or anything, its from scratch. I am kind of pleased with it.

i think it's pretty sweet =) but i don't really like the text, i don't think it's necessary... unless it's the main thing that's identifying it as YOURS. i don't really know what i mean

also, dunno if you were specifically trying to keep that simple cartoony look, but maybe change the blue b/ground to include just a slight gradient, to add a bit more interest. Might look good, might not..

overall, nice work!

Tool: I am pretty tired right now (extremely weird given its only 2am, which is early to me) and me coding when I am tired is like me jumping in front of a train at the last second. Yeah... its messy.

iLikePie: The text is to show that its mine, I also like it there. And as for the color... I tried the gradient and wasn't too fond of it. I am a solid colors kind of guy really, great suggestion though :)

LOL... I am a n00b at drawing in Flash. I am so happy with this one. And OMG... my elementary school was J. Hampton Moore school....LOL. Moore, weird that you said that.

Has anyone noticed that the guy (me) is supposed to give the illusion where you don't know if the front or back of him is facing you, but it kind of makes sense either way? I don't know if I achieved that very well, but I am happy with it none-the-less.

you should add some clouds there. and maby some small trees in the back ground. - thats just if your thinking of adding somethings.:beam:

Ok, I didn't like the clouds... it made it too crowded in there.

I added some tree though, nice little vector trees with nice little vector snow. I like it. I also shortened the text to just say "lostinbeta" and I added glowing to the cirlces on the snowboard.
