I don't think Kirupa has any sort of official backend program. Apparently he uses Frontpage to make everything. Never heard him talk about any sort of CMS.

haha - yeah, there is no backend. It's all just HTML managed in a FrontPage web to get all the SSI-like page includes to work :)

Well it can refer to the behind the scenes workings of a website, or in the case I was referring to the rear end. Not necessarily the "arsehole", but the whole arse in general. ;)

isnt that quite a bit to manage. A CMS would be nice. o well.

Kirupa is his own CMS.

isnt that quite a bit to manage. A CMS would be nice. o well. Not at all - a few years ago I made it so that all of the repeated content on the site is its own little page. Even irrelevant/empty portions of a page were 'modularized' because I figured in the future I may do something with them.

So, for the most part, any site-wide changes are done by updating only one or two pages. The only content that really changes every few seconds is the new forum post feature, and I just iframe that in from the kforum.

Notice how he doesn't mention the Kirupa AI that enables him to do all of this :PIndirectly I did. Would why the AI refer to himself as the "AI" as opposed to just regular I? :ro:

uhhh what? :h:I mention in my second post that "....ago I made it so that...." Yeldarb said that I didn't refer to the AI. But, since I am rumored to be the AI, I would refer to myself as I...as is customary in human languages :beam:

In other words, I did refer to the AI - by referring to I.

I hope that was less confusing haha.
