Hey peeps, having some trouble and getting very frustrated over here. Im having trouble saving an image file as an icon (.ico) filetype. How can I do this? Ive been trying to for just about an hour. Im using Photoshop 7.0... Thanks

i dont think photoshop can do what you request.
you need another program. just save your icon as bmp, and open it up in a program like

I don't believe Photoshop supports the .ico format. I think .ico format images are created using specific programs that make icons. Not sure though. I didn't see the save as option for .ico, so I am assuming Photoshop doesn't support it (You can't open .ico files either)
