hey i think i heard that killzone is already out in the US, so i was just wondering if anyone here has played it or owns it?

if so id like to hear if its as good as the hype would imply or if its just another sony hyped sellout.

I haven't seen what the actual gameplay looks like... but I guess if you're stuck using a PS2, then this would be your Halo. :beam:

IGN said it was really cool looking, but had a lot of gameplay / technical flaws. Ehhh. I'll take Halo 2 online anyday over ANYTHING on the PS2.... Except maybe San Andreas, which will be out for PC in a couple months. :D

I still can't understand why people like Halo(2) so much? It looks like a truly crap and boring game to me, then again I'm not really into sci-fi overload shooters anyway. Killzone does look interesting to me.

Nah, killzone doesn't look like a halo ripoff, it looks more like an apocaliptic ww2 game. I mean come on, that guy leading the bad guys could pass for hitler in character, and the soldiers look like nazi stormtroopers. Check it out:
