OS Feature request

I'm trying to create a cool operating system that has it's main applications written in flash. What i mean is, you write a program in flash, and it becomes a real application.

But i'm still working out the basic kinks, so what I'd like to know is, would you guys tell me what features would make a good OS?

For example, one of my friends suggested making the installer let you play a small game, browse the internet AS the OS installs, and/or watch a movie.

What else can you guys give me? Don't give me obvious stuff like "make it reliable", or "make it hackproof", because thats something every OS should have, and im doing more than the basics.

PS, I created a new model of operations; rather than closed-source (like windows) and open source (like linux), I open up certain parts to the public (IE security, browser, etc)

Wait let me get this striaght.

You are trying to program a real OS with Flash? Or are you trying to simulate an OS with Flash (like a fullscreen browser kinda deal)?

If you are trying to make a full blown OS in Flash, bad idea. Flash is not ment for that kinda stuff man...just, bad idea.

no no, im not building it completely out of flash, just the User Interface, and its a real OS...but don't worry about that, im just asking for feature requests (thats sort of an oxymoron)

'birdboy' - Im really interested in your OS that your creating sounds good, some feature I think that would be good is to make it hack proof :D......lol.....Some features id like in it would be to have like a tabbed start menu kind of thing with customizable tabs. Example: the tabs are on the left hand side of the screen and you click a tab such as 'Multimedia' and that pops out displaying icons for Flash, Photoshop etc....

Obvious things such as time, ill try think of things later...in the future if you need a tester or anything im willing....also your idea about being able to surf the net or play a game while installing the OS sounds pretty neat....
